Joyce Shannon is the owner of North Hills Nanny LLC, where she helps Pittsburgh families find dependable, caring childcare. She also created Pittsburgh Childcare Connections, a community page that brings local families and childcare professionals together. After more than 10 years working in healthcare as an nursing assistant and patient care technician- including experience in bone marrow transplant oncology and hospice care-Joyce brings a strong foundation of compassion, responsibility, and family-centered care to her work.

Joyce is excited to keep growing North Hills Nanny with its new online booking platform, making it easier for families to request trusted care. Outside of the agency, she leads a women’s group at Orchard Hill Church, volunteers with the church security team, and enjoys serving her community. She recently celebrated a new chapter as a newlywed and is looking forward to an upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Joyce is grateful to build a life and business rooted in faith, service, and caring for others.
