Rates starting at $35.00/hour ( the family pays this to the caregiver )
Average Duration:
Short-Term: 2 to 4 weeks (often just to get through the initial postpartum period)
Standard: 6 to 12 weeks (most common timeframe, especially for establishing sleep routines)
Extended: Up to 4 to 6 months (for families wanting continued support with sleep training, twins, reflux, or returning to work)
Typical Weekly Schedule:
3–5 nights per week
8–12 hour overnight shifts, usually from 9 PM–7 AM or 10 PM–6 AM
The Agency Cost: 10% of caregivers compensation
