Part-Time Nanny Position – Fox Chapel, Pittsburgh
Location: Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA 15218)
Start Date: February 9, 2026End Date: August 10, 2026
Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per weekCompensation: $24-$26/hr
Children: Girl age 4 (in school 8:30am-11:15am), Boy age 1

We are a Christian family who deeply values faith, routine, and quality time together. Our home is warm, structured, and joy-filled, while still leaving room for creativity and play. We enjoy church, worship, outdoor activities, library visits, and occasional restaurant outings as a family. Our older child is vibrant, kind, and artistic—enjoying building, creating, and helping care for their younger sibling. Our younger child is charming and adventurous, with a love for climbing, exploring, and playing alongside their sibling. Both children are sensitive, thoughtful, and developing independence.
Faith is central to our family life, so comfort participating in faith-based routines (prayer, worship music, church schedule) is a plus.
Parenting Style:
The family practices a patient, balanced parenting approach—neither strictly “gentle” nor overly traditional. Emphasis is placed on helping children understand and navigate their emotions while fostering independence, kindness, and faith.
Responsibilities:
•Providing attentive, engaging care for two young children
•Preparing and serving lunch and snacks
•Light clean-up after meals (emptying/filling dishwasher preferred)
•Facilitating age-appropriate learning activities:
Letters, numbers, and short books for the 4-year-old
Colors and early number exposure for the 1-year-old
•Encouraging and assisting with toy clean-up
•Engaging in backyard play and creative activities
Work Environment:
•Mother is a stay-at-home parent who works from home part-time
•No driving required
•No pets in the home
•Cameras are present in the home
Qualifications:
•The family is seeking a nanny who is comfortable supporting a Christian home environment.
Patient, calm, and emotionally aware caregiving style
•Experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children
Reliable and consistent with schedule.
•Comfortable working in a home with a parent present
Compensation & Benefits:
•Guaranteed 8 hours per week
